Tools Privacy Policy
This policy applies to Balanceable's browser-based tools that link here, including Cash Counter and Invoice Generator. We will update it when we add a tool with different data handling.
Your cash count
Your counts, currency, options, tax rate and any business details you enter are saved in this browser on this device so you can return to them. Totals are calculated in your browser; the saved details are not sent to Balanceable. Start a new count clears the denomination quantities and float amount while keeping your settings and business details. Clear saved data removes the Cash Counter data saved in this browser. Closing the page does not clear it.
If you download a CSV or PDF, the file is saved where you choose on your device. If you choose the email option, your own email app opens with a draft; sending it is your choice.
Your invoice details
Invoice details, business and customer information, payment details, uploaded logos and preferences are saved in this browser so you can return to them. They are not sent to Balanceable's servers. The PDF is made in your browser and downloaded to your device.
Use Clear saved data in the Invoice Generator to remove its saved details and logo from this browser. You can also clear this site's data in your browser settings. A PDF you already downloaded must be deleted separately from your device.
When you contact us
Using a tool does not send its entries to us. If you choose to send a message through either tool's Contact Us form, your name, email address and message go through Web3Forms to Balanceable so we can respond. Please do not include private invoice or financial details unless needed for your enquiry.
Contact messages are separate from your cash counts and invoice details. If you email a Cash Counter summary to someone, your email provider and the recipient handle that email.
Website requests
Opening these pages requires normal web requests. The hosting service may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Some fonts, icons and PDF libraries come from third-party providers, which may receive similar request information under their own policies. We do not include your cash count or invoice details in those requests.
We do not use your tool entries to profile you, and we do not sell them.
Balanceable bookkeeping services
If you separately enquire about or engage Balanceable for bookkeeping services, we may collect the personal and business information needed to respond, onboard you and provide those services, with your authorisation where required. That information is handled under our Services Privacy Policy. Using Cash Counter or Invoice Generator does not enrol you in those services.
