Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of bookkeeping services by Balanceable ("we", "our", "us"). By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

These Terms & Conditions should be read in conjunction with any Service Agreement and Authority to Act provided to you. Where there is any inconsistency, the Service Agreement will prevail to the extent of that inconsistency.

1. Services

We provide bookkeeping and related support services as agreed in writing with you. Services may include transaction processing, reconciliations, reporting, payroll support, and software management.

2. Client Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate and complete financial information.
  • You are responsible for reviewing reports and notifying us of errors promptly.
  • You remain legally responsible for your business records and compliance obligations.
  • Where we are engaged as your BAS agent, we may prepare and lodge BAS and IAS on your behalf. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the information provided to us.

3. Limitation of Liability

We provide services based on information supplied by you. We are not liable for losses arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or delayed information provided by you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of services provided.

4. Professional Advice

Our services do not constitute financial, taxation, or legal advice unless expressly agreed. You should seek independent professional advice where required.

5. Fees & Payment

Fees will be agreed in writing. Invoices are payable within the stated terms. We reserve the right to suspend services for overdue accounts.

6. Confidentiality

We will treat your information as confidential and only disclose it where required to provide services or by law.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate services with written notice. Fees for services performed up to termination remain payable.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
